                Mysteriousness has downsides. Anybody who began life as a mystery has a harder time keeping it. Eventually there is a choice: to let the mystery continue from afar or to slowly let it all come down. Few mysteries can remain that way forever. Jandek does live shows yet remains a mystery. Various online anonymous entities go out every now and again looking for friends. With enough time every mystery can become knowable. It is more interesting for the person wondering about the mystery than it is for the person keeping the mystery. An imbalance exists between the two and the bridge attempting to connect the two is the most interesting part.

                Nihilism on a dating site sounds about right. Hope isn’t on those dating sites. OK Cupid understands this concept well. When OK Cupid divided its user base into ‘attractive’ and ‘not attractive’ they didn’t even receive a backlash. By that point everybody understood what happened on OK Cupid, the matching system. Cynicism rules over the online dating community. Many bad dates originally started online. Through the power of text messages and phone calls the worst ones are weeded out. Still online dating can get scary.

                YOLO is death’s nudity. While death terrifies people it shouldn’t. The limited amount of time spent on a big beautiful Earth ought to be enough to convince people to do something beautiful. If somebody’s not willing to realize that then their life might be pretty doomed. Everything about YOLO should convince somebody to do it. So many dreams are out there. What’s sad about those dreams is people never follow through with them. Literally it is a wonderful thing to simply take one thing and do that one thing right. If an interest is allowed to go by the wayside what purpose does it serve?

                Magicians are the scumbags of childhood. Parents use magicians as a warning. Not everyone will be truthful with them. Lies are inevitable. Obviously magicians are the worst of the liars. Busy trying to fool innocent children a magician lives a sad pathetic life. When the magician goes home he tries magic to make friends appear. He tries reaching out to friend, messaging them. None of them ever respond. Though the magician fails at friendship they magically make jobs appear out of thin air for a service nobody really needs.

                Upon death everybody’s online presence is gathered together and sold as an e-book. At least that’s what should be done. Epitaphs should be tweets. Eulogies should read their best moments online, linked, and shared with all their family.

Iris Karuna was born March 23, 1989 - on the last possible date [contested by some astrologers] for Aries-Pisces cusp babies. As a result she is comprised of 36% tragicomic, intense, and unpredictable emotions; 55% blind impulse and faulty intuition, and 9% defeatist apologies for all of the previous components. While always sharp-witted and often full of snide remarks, Ms. Karuna is also widely considered to be a ‘good person’ (this does nothing for her love life, however). Half ‘white’ and half ‘South Asian’, her exact lineage is confusing and oft-forgotten, which prompts many children to propose that she is, in fact, a fairy. This is a suggestion that Ms. Karuna never dismisses, which may indeed prove her place in the fairy community, as well as the existence of fairies in general. Nimble in more ways than one, Ms. Karuna is often found making things - with her mind, as well as with her fingers.
